Position Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role involves monitoring activities, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and experience in security or law enforcement. Prior knowledge of surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where maintaining safety is a top priority.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
  • Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including providing assistance as needed
  • Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities and observations
  • Control access points by verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes when necessary
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents or investigations
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential security breaches or theft attempts

Experience:

  • Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is preferred
  • Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques for deterring theft or vandalism
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior quickly
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents accurately and professionally
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situation
