HISTORY
EAST is Employment Assisted Services & Training. EAST Resource Centre opened its doors in February of 2013 and accommodates the Entrepreneurship, Employment and Training Program, Income Assistance Administration and Adult Learning Centre.
MISSION
To empower skilled labourers with the willingness to work; link individuals to long-term employment opportunities and assist in working towards a sustainable future.
VISION
Increase individuals’ skills, promote employment and link individuals to opportunities by partnering with other service providers and using a client-centered, strength-based approach grounded in goal setting.
ABOUT
The EAST Resource Centre provides community-based resources and programs that are partnered with other service providers (such as: Service Canada, Employment Manitoba, Futurpreneur, Selkirk Friendship Centre, etc.) to provide more opportunities for its members.
