We are seeking a dynamic Grocery Store Associate to join our team. This position combines the responsibilities of both a Cashier and a Stock Clerk, offering a variety of tasks that help create a positive shopping experience for our customers and ensure the store is well-stocked, clean, and organized.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate a cash register to process customer purchases efficiently and accurately
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service, addressing customer inquiries with a positive attitude
  • Bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers, and assist with loading purchases into vehicles
  • Retrieve products from shelves or stockrooms for customers and direct them to the appropriate aisles
  • Unpack, count, and sort incoming products, ensuring they are properly displayed
  • Keep store shelves stocked, clean, and orderly, ensuring fresh products are presented
  • Handle customer service inquiries and resolve issues to provide a positive shopping experience
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including cashier and stock areas
  • Perform other tasks such as order picking and assisting with inventory management
